Hotel Avila is a well-known Zihuatanejo landmark, and it continues to be the only hotel on the Municipal Beach in the old downtown section known as El Centro. Many of the hotel's guests are international tourists and sport fishing enthusiasts who always return to Hotel Avila and exotic Zihuatanejo Bay on the tropical coast of Guerrero, Mexico for a relaxing vacation.

The hotel has 27 rooms, 9 of which face the bay and feature large terraces with beautiful views. The rooms all have 2 double-beds and one single bed, air conditioning, ceiling fans, color TV, and telephone.

Tata's Bar & Restaurant, located on the ground floor fronting the bay, provides delicious meals and drinks. They will be happy to prepare your catch of the day Mexican style and serve it to you at a candle-lit table on the beach.
